10th-place Finish in Davenport Doubleheader Finale

Following the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Chase Junghans traveled to Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) on Friday evening for the doubleheader at the facility that offers a quarter-mile oval inside of the half-mile oval. With the 38-car field split into two separate groups for qualifying, Junghans followed up the fourth fastest time in his group with a second place finish in his heat behind Brandon Sheppard. The following night on the half-mile oval, Chase edged his way into the $10,000-to-win finale with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Junghans improved six spots in the 40-lap affair to register a 10th place finish.
