Pair of Top 10 finishes in World of Outlaws doubleheader

Friday night saw Chase Junghans return with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) piloting his Junghans Discount Liquor No. 18 Late Model for the doubleheader. Drawing 33 cars, Junghans timed in third fastest in his group before charging to a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win opening night feature in third, Chase fell three spots in the 50-lapper to place sixth. (Michael Moats photo)

The following night, Chase secured his spot into the main event with a third place finish in his heat. With $10,000 on the line, Junghans passed three cars in the 50-lap affair to register a ninth place outing.
