12th-place finish in Dirt Track Bank Go 50 at I-80

Chase Junghans made the trip to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) on Thursday night to kick off the Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals weekend with the Dirt Track Bank Go 50. Drawing 46 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Chase came one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Charging to a 12-lap consolation victory, Junghans locked into the 18th-starting position for the opening night feature. The following night for a pair of heat races, Junghans picked up a 10-lap heat race victory in his first round before placing sixth in his second heat. With the Top 18 in passing points locked into the $53,000-to-win Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals, Chase was 13th overall.

Rolling off 13th for the feature on Saturday night, Chase Junghans was the first retiree from the 101-lap affair on lap 14.
