The #100 gets the clean sweep at Red River Valley Speedway

The NLSA lightning sprint series made their third and final appearance of the season to Red River Valley Speedway. Jason Berg of Fargo jumped to the lead on the opening lap and picked up a convincing win. The win was the first ever at the West Fargo speedway and the second of his career for Berg, who had spent countless years working at the speedway in various capacities until getting behind the wheel a couple of years ago. It was a great night for myself as the track where i grew up watching races and eventually working at the track for a very good portion of my adult life. Never did i think i would be racing at the track but a few years ago i took the plunge and got into the lighting sprints. Last night it started off good with a good draw and the car has been fast lately so i was optimistic we would have a good run not thinking of winning the heat but a good solid top three would have been fine. The car was fast out of the gate we led flag to flag winning the heat race and to top it off we won the coin flip and started heads up putting us on the outside pole.
The feature we started on the outside front row and were able to make a pass under the leader coming out of turn two and from there on out it was a matter of hitting all my marks and not doing anything crazy and lose momentum. The car was perfect i could pretty much put it anywhere that i wanted to and it kept good traction.
Thanks to the Red River Valley Speedway staff for a great race track and the great surprise we received upon check in! I look forward to hopefully many more races at RRVS but for now this one ranks right up there with my 1st win a few weeks ago because of it being Red River Valley Speedway my home track!!

Thanks to all the wonderful sponsors that help out the #100 team!!! I surely could not be living my dream to race if not fur all of you!!!
