Recap from the weekend for Jason Berg Racing
The week kicked off for the #100 team in Wishek North Dakota on Thursday night and for the fair at Tri County Speedway. Lot's of work was done in the shop due to my flip over the week prior at BRRP so it was a feat in itself that we were ready to go! We had a good night finishing 4th in the feature with the #100 care. Friday night did not fare so well as a loose fuel line caused the car to stop during the race which resulted in a DNF. Saturday we made our way to the Jamestown Speedway and took off from the pole in the heat race only to have a seat mount break during the racing making for an uncomfortable ride as the seat was banging on the caliper every bump so i ran around the bottom just to finish the last 5 laps. In the feature the #100 team made great progress as we started around 9th or 10th and wound up finishing 4th! It certainly was a good weekend and we also saw Bryce Haugeberg make some solid progress in the #22 Hyper race car along with our other teammate Dev Malmlov who had a disappointing weekend as he had fuel problems and ended upside down in Wishek. He did a great job teaching Bryce some things and helping gain speed every time he hot the track!
This week for the #100 team is the Chad Olson Memorial Race in Greenbush on Saturday before returning back to BRRP for the remaining Saturday nights for the season.
