Full House Brings wins for Solander and Sweet
*Park City, Kansas March 30th 2024
*Saturday night was a night of firsts at 81 Speedway. The NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws were in town along with the JLR Property Management 316 A Mods along with the TM Fencing LLC Super Stocks. In front of the largest crowd in the history of 81 these 2 classes rose to the occasion and put on a great show.
*First up were the JLR Property Management 316 Modifieds with 3 heat races. Heat race 1 would see Dan Powers lead early only to have Reece Solander get by Powers on the white flag lap to grab the heat race win. Heat race number 2 would see Wyatt Gaggero start shotgun on the field and work his way to the front for the heat race win. Heat race 3 would go to the “Money Man” Clay Money in his Mullens Chassis with Jared Russell and Ryan McAninch rounding out the top 3.
*The A main would see Dan Powers and Clay Money bring the field to the green. Clay Money would lead the race early on with Dan Powers, Wyatt Gaggero and Reece Solander in tow. As the leaders were working through lap traffic Solander took advantage of the top 2 in lapped traffic and took the lead away from Money. Solander would lead from that point on parking the Hodges Farms 7G in the Oreilly Auto Parts Winners Circle. Rounding out the top 5 behind Solander was Jared Russell, Dan Powers, Clay Money and Wyatt Gaggero.
*The TM Fencing LLC Super Stocks closed out the night with their A main. With 15 cars signing in the heat race wins went to Kenny Sweet and Jerry Eveland. The A feature would see Kenny Sweet and Jerrod Reimer on the front row. At the green Sweet would jump out to the lead with Reimer right behind. As these two would slice through lapped traffic Reimer would close the distance between he and Sweet, but that as close as it got. Sweet would go on the take the victory and during his interview he commented on how it was nice his family in Alabama was able watch the race on Dirtvision
