Michael Truscott Bags First Win of the Season at Eagle Valley

Michael competed in four events over the past week, capping off his four day excursion with his first win of 2020. The week long racing action kicked off at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin on Friday, May 15th in USRA Modified action. Michael won his heat race with ease and then ran inside the top ten for the entire feature, coming home 10th at the checkered.

He then made the trip north to the Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin for the 2 day Mod Nationals. Thursday night, he raced from 7th to 4th in his heat race and then charged from 10th up to finish 5th in the feature. Friday night, he ran second in his heat race before coming home 10th in the 30-lap feature event.

Michael's weekend wrapped up on Sunday night at the Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, WI for an unsanctioned Modified event. Michael started 9th in his heat race and worked his way up to third, putting him third in the feature lineup. From there, he jumped to the top of the speedway and took over the lead early and stretched it out to race his #22t to victory lane.
