Michael Truscott Wins in Midwest Mod at Cedar Lake Speedway

Jesse competed on Friday night at the Eagle River Speedway in Eagle River, Wisconsin and came home with his fourth straight top two finish. He ran 3rd in his heat race from 5th and then started 6th in the main event and raced home with a 2nd place finish. Saturday night, the team made the trip to the ABC Raceway in Ashland, Wisconsin and finished 3rd in his heat race, after starting 7th and then started 5th in the main and was racing for fourth and spun out with 5 laps to go. Restarted at the tail and salvaged a 14th place finish.

Michael brought his Midwest Modified and Modified to the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI for the Masters weekend and had great success. In the Midwest Modified on Friday, Michael won his heat race and then finished 6th in the main event after a race-long battle for fourth, then Saturday night in the Midwest Modified, Michael swept action with a heat race win from 4th and a wire to wire feature win from the pole. In the Modifieds, Michael ran 6th in his first round of heats on Friday night after starting 11th and then finished 3rd in his second set of heats, setting him up with a 5th starting spot in Saturday's b-main. Mike ran 10th in the B to qualify for the $2,000 to start / $50,000 to win main event. He then ran inside the top 20 for the first 10 laps of the race before falling out on lap 13, ending his run early, but capping off a great weekend overall.
