Satterlee finishes seventh in Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway
Gregg Satterlee made the short one-hour trip to Lernerville Speedway over the weekend as the Sarver, Pennsylvania oval hosted the 19th annual Firecracker 100.
With persistent weather washing out Thursday and Friday’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series preliminary events, the crown jewel program was condensed into a single-day showdown on Saturday. Satterlee opened the evening with the fifth-fastest lap in his 26-car qualifying group, then secured the final transfer spot in his heat race.
Lining up 15th on the grid for the $50,000-to-win main event, Satterlee steadily worked his way forward throughout the 100-lap feature, advancing eight positions to register a solid seventh-place finish against a stacked field.
