Satterlee tops Late Model Open at Selinsgrove
Gregg Satterlee topped his third Zimmer’s United Late Model Series event of the 2022 season on Saturday night in his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Keyser Manufacturing / Classic Ink / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.
The $5,000 victory increased his overall win total for the season to five.
“Our big track program has been really good so far this year, and we were able to get another win on Saturday at Selinsgrove,” Satterlee said. “Hats off to Robby (Allen) for giving me a great hot rod, and thanks to everyone who helps on this car. We’re looking forward to Lernerville (Speedway) this weekend and seeing what we can accomplish during the Firecracker 100 weekend.”
Gregg Satterlee visited Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pa.) on Saturday evening, where he entered his Satterlee Motorsports No. 22 Late Model into battle with the Zimmer’s United Late Model Series (ULMS) for the Jeff’s Auto Body Late Model Open.
In a field of 28 cars, Satterlee qualified second-fastest in his group before picking up a heat race win.
Starting the feature in the fourth position, Gregg outran Matt Cosner in the 40-lapper to pick up his fifth win of the season and a $5,000 prize. He recorded his 14th-career ULMS triumph ahead of Cosner, Andy Haus, Bryan Bernheisel, and Andrew Yoder.

Satterlee now turns his attention to the upcoming weekend’s Firecracker 100. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tripleheader includes $6,000-to-win programs on both Thursday and Friday followed by a $50,000-to-win finale on Saturday.
