13th-place finish in Firecracker opener at Lernerville

On Thursday afternoon Gregg Satterlee invaded Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) debuting in a bright neon paint scheme on his No. 22 Late Model for the 15th annual Firecracker 100 weekend. Drawing 53 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Satterlee secured his spot into the preliminary feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. With $6,000 on the line, Gregg gained five spots in the 30-lapper to register a 13th-place finish.

For another preliminary feature on Friday afternoon, Gregg recorded a fifth-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the show, Satterlee logged a sixth-place outing.

With preliminary results determining the starting lineups for heat races on Saturday, Satterlee came in sixth in his heat before streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory. Locked into the 22nd-starting position for the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, Gregg improved six spots in the 100-lap affair to place 16th.
