Satterlee attends World of Outlaws doubleheader at Thunder Mtn

Taking part in the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series doubleheader, Gregg Satterlee traveled to Thunder Mountain Speedway (Knox Dale, Pa.) on Friday afternoon for the Thunderfest. In a stout field of 37 cars, Satterlee laid down the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group before placing second in his heat behind Chase Junghans. On Saturday afternoon, Gregg scored a runner-up finish in his heat behind Darrell Lanigan, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win finale. After drawing a pair of cautions early in the 50-lap affair, Satterlee limped across the line in 16th after flames were seen underneath the hood of his car to bring out the yellow on lap-49.
