Benji Hicks makes long haul to Duck River Raceway Park; 11th-place in Deep Fried 75
Making the long haul to Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) over the weekend, Benji Hicks joined a 34-car field with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for the Deep Fried 75.
Transferring to Friday's opener through a last chance qualifier, Benji started the $5,000-to-win feature from the seventh-row and wound up 18th.
For Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Hicks nabbed the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat race which placed him on the seventh-row once again. After 75-laps, Benji was scored 11th.
