Freeman records Top-10 outing with Southern Nationals at Sugar Creek Raceway

Joining the mini-tour during it's final week, Payton Freeman checked in with the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series at Toccoa (Ga.) Raceway on Tuesday afternoon for the $7,553-to-win opener.

Freeman dealt with mechanical issues that ended his night early.

Payton found a little better luck on Thursday evening as he drove to a Top-10 finish at Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) before finishing 18th in the $10,053-to-win event at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Friday.
