Pierce bags second win of 2021 at 411

Pierce McCarter wired the Crate Late Model competition on Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway to pick up the $1,000 victory in his Jim Beeman Lumber / McCarter Brothers Racing No. 71 Tennessee Homemade Wines/ Parkway Liquor Store / Mastersbilt Race Cars / Phantom Racing Engine Crate Late Model.

The triumph marked his second of the season.

“We won right out of the gate back in January to start the year but since then luck hasn’t been our side, but we put it altogether on Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway. My team gave me a great car, and I got the job done,” Pierce McCarter noted. “We’re going back to 411 Motor Speedway looking for another win this coming Saturday, and hopefully we can repeat.”

On Saturday evening, Pierce McCarter entered his Beeman Lumber No. 71 Late Model into battle at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the regular night of racing. After topping the charts in time trials, McCarter won by more than a six-second margin in the feature event to register his second win of the season. He took the checkers ahead of Jason Cardwell, William Blankenship, Bradley Lewelling, and Josh Collins.

Earlier in the week, Mack McCarter visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Wednesday evening to compete in the seventh round of the Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series. With 28 Late Models entered, McCarter clocked in third fastest overall before placing second in his heat race.

Earning the sixth-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Mack was running in the Top 5 against a star-studded field before mechanical issues sidelined him on the 15th circuit of the 40 lapper.
