Kyle Bronson pockets $10,000 at East Alabama Motor Speedway
USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway Up Next
BRANDON, Fla. (07/28/25) – Kyle Bronson turned the tables on Mark Whitener Saturday night at East Alabama Motor Speedway, powering to his first victory of the season in the Atomic Music Group / Racecar Engineering No. 40 Longhorn Chassis Late Model and pocketing a $10,000 payday.
After finishing second to Whitener in Friday’s Carswell and Brackett Memorial at Alabama’s Penton Raceway, Bronson led all 50 laps the following evening, keeping his fellow Floridian at bay to capture the win.
“It feels good to be back,” Bronson said. “We had to take last weekend off after I had an issue with my eye, but I’m glad this weekend went well. Mark’s a good buddy of mine, so it’s always fun when we get to race together. It’s pretty cool that we both came away with a win this weekend. Hopefully, we can carry this momentum into Wisconsin next weekend.”
Bronson’s doubleheader weekend opened Friday at Penton Raceway with the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series headlining the Carswell and Brackett Memorial. Starting from the second row in the feature, he advanced two positions in the 50-lap affair to finish runner-up, joining Whitener and third-place Ashton Winger on the podium.
Shifting 55 miles south to East Alabama Motor Speedway on Saturday, Bronson posted the fastest time in qualifying and dominated the 50-lap main event, outpacing Mark Whitener and Dalton Cook to capture the victory—his first of the 2025 season.
The performance netted Bronson a $10,000 payday.

Bronson now shifts his focus to a major test as he heads north to Wisconsin’s Cedar Lake Speedway for the 38th annual USA Nationals, sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series. The three-day crown jewel kicks off Thursday with a $10,000-to-win preliminary program and culminates Saturday with the $100,000-to-win main event.
