Cade Dillard 10th in Gopher 50; pair of Top-10 finishes with XR Super Series
Kicking off his week with the XR Super Series, Cade Dillard was one of 27 Super Late Models signed in at Gondik Law Speedway (Superior, Wis.) for the Superior Showcase.
Falling one spot in his heat race, Dillard started 13th in the $15,000-to-win feature and scored a Top-10 finish in eighth.
Racing for $50,000 on a Wednesday night at Ogilvie (Minn.) Raceway, Dillard was victorious in his heat race and earned another Top-10 outing with a ninth-place finish.
Joining the World of Outlaw Case Late Model Series on Thursday for the Gopher 50 at weekend at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minn.), Dillard joined a 31-car field before Mother Nature forced a reschedule to Friday afternoon.
Cade finished 12th in Friday's afternoon preliminary feature before finding a little more speed during the evening's prelim where he would record an eighth-place run.
Locked into Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, Dillard finished fourth in his dash which earned him a starting spot on the sixth-row. Making up two spots in the 75 lapper, Cade finished 10th to cap off his busy week.
