Feature winners for the night were Dylan VanWyk, Brayton Carter, Dallon Murty, Chanse Hollatz, Jeremy Purdy, Braden Richards, Braxton Wallace, Kaden Cochrun, Brayton Carter and Damon Murty.
First up was the IMCA Northern SportMod qualifier number one with Izac Mallicoat and Cole Fenske on the front row. Mallicoat held the lead until Dylan VanWyk slid by on lap nine. Cam Reimers and Colby Fett had a whale of a battle for second but it was all VanWyk as he sailed to the win. Fett finished in second with Reimers third, Jake Sachau fourth and Mitchell Morris fifth.
Qualifier number 2 for the SportMods came out next with Brayton Carter and Shane Paris showing the way. Paris would lead early with Carter and Brett Vanderheiden duking it out for second. Carter stayed patient and slid into the lead with four laps left, cruising to almost a full straightaway win. Paris finished second with Logan Anderson third, Vanderheiden fourth and Tim Eaton fifth.
IMCA Stock Car qualifier 1 was up next with the Murty boys, Dallon and Damon on the front row. Derek Green made it interesting through lap traffic but it was all Dallon as he led every lap to take the win. Green finished second with Damon Murty third, Abe Huls fourth and Michael Jeannette fifth.
Stock Car qualifier number 2 had Chanse Hollatz and Elijah Zevenbergen leading the field to green with Hollatz dominating the race on the bottom side of the speedway, taking the flag to flag win. Zevenbergen finished second with Buck Schafroth third, Joe Zrostlik fourth and Austin Bouzek fifth.
Randy Lamar and Jack Philips brought IMCA Hobby Stock qualifier 1 to the green flag with Dylan Nelson charging into the lead early. Jeremy Purdy worked into the lead on lap seven as Nelson stayed true to the bottom side of the track. Purdy held on to the top spot all the way to the checkered flag to take the win. Nelson finished second with Jason Kohl third, Eric Stanton fourth and Tom Killen Jr fifth.
The last Dirt Duel qualifier came to the track next for the Hobby Stocks with Solomon Bennett and Braden Richards pacing the field. Richards shot into the lead with Brandon Cox and Aaron Rudolph battling for second. Richards would hold the advantage to the end to take the win over Rudolph, Cox, Tanner Dixon and Bennett.
IMCA Sport Compacts were up next with Braxton Wallace and Dusty Champlin on the front row. Wallace rocketed into the lead and it was all over from there as the T13 drove off to the win. Mark Smith finished second with Andrew Mills third, Harold Robb fourth and Curtis Masterson fifth.
Cory Sonner and Kaden Cochrun led the IMCA Mod Lites to the green flag and it was all Cochrun as he cruised to the win. Dillon Raffurty finished in second with Michael Raffurty third, Josh May fourth and Nathan Wolfe fifth.
Manufacturer races were the last two races on the track with the SportMods being the first ones to go. Jimmy Davy and Tim Eaton started from the front row but it was Izac Mallicoat leading early with Brayton Carter close behind. Carter made his move on lap four and it was all over as he sped off to the win. Mallicoat finished second with Dylan VanWyk third, Cory Pestotnik fourth and Jake Sachau fifth.
Stock Cars were the last one on the track for their manufacturer’s race with Bob Daniels and Nick Roberts out front. Damon Murty flew to the lead early and led to the end to take the win. Dallon Murty finished second with Michael Jeannette third, Bob Daniels fourth and Derek Green fifth.
We’d like to thank all who came out to support the race track at our seventh event of the year. Wednesday will see day two of the Dynamic Drivelines Dirt Duel with the Modifieds and Outlaw Mini Mods joining as well as the Stock Car, SportMod and Hobby Stock finales. See you then!
