Johnny Scott attends King of America X at Humboldt Speedway
Friday night found Johnny Scott in action at Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kan.) to compete with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) for the two-day King of America X powered by Summit. In a stout field of 91 cars, Johnny jumped up one spot in his heat race to pick up the 10-lap victory. Starting the opening night feature in seventh, Scott dropped 10 spots in the 50-lapper to finish 17th.
The following night, Scott scored a heat race win over Jason Hughes, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the $20,000-to-win King of America X main event. Fading outside the Top-10, Johnny slipped back to a 14th-place outing.
