12th-place finish in Night Before the Jackson at Brownstown Speedway
On Friday evening Stormy Scott followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Night Before the Jackson. With 59 cars on hand for the two-day event, Stormy came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Scott earned the 19th-starting position for the opening night feature. Passing seven cars in the 40-lap affair, Stormy Scott reeled in a 12th place finish.
The following night for the Jackson 100, Scott recorded a sixth place finish in his heat before placing fifth in his B-Main. Relying on a provisional into the $15,000-to-win main event, Stormy was an early retiree from the 100-lapper on lap 18.
