Super July Continues at Sandusky Speedway
The 2016 Mathews Ford Mid Season Champions are in the books at Sandusky Speedway! Sandusky Speedway hosted its Mid Season Championships presented by Matthews Ford on Saturday night and hard nosed racing and points drama ensued. In the modified division, Kenny Sharp tamed the weekly short track kings by winning the feature en route to his mid season championship. In the sportsman division, Jerry Karl did the same. In the street stock division, Mark Resor would win the feature event while Mike White would win the mid season championship. In the Hobby Stock division, Dan Smith would win the feature while Richard Clem would pick up the mid season championship.
As the super July continues for the historic 1/2 mile track - this weekend will feature a $1,000.00 to win Modified race with the Sportsman, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks also on hand. The kids will be treated to a candy toss and the 1st two car chain race to be run. The chain race will feature two cars chained together with a 6 foot chain, the front car will be the power and the rear car will be the brakes!!!
