Some Like It Rough.....

*Okay okay, calm down we are referring to the heavy rain causing track conditions to have more “Character” than some would prefer.
*F.O.E Enterprises crew showed up early, operating track-owned tractors and tillers, working the entire pit area, all around the 3/8 mile track, and infield to get it all dried out. Then several of the “Army” showed up and packed it all in. It definitely was worth it for the 95 cars checked in for the four divisions!! Thanks KC,TD,CK,ED,RL,JT !!!
• The night started off with the Allied Energy Stock cars. Early in the race it was the always-fast Bad Beau Davis with Joey Richmond challenging. As the race progressed 6th-starting Baby Ramey made his way to fight for the lead. After overtaking Beau for the top spot, Beau had no part of it and drove under him off of turn 2 to lead until the white flag flew. Then an unfortunate lost part of a bumper on turn 4 that was almost undetectable was struck by Beau forcing the last lap yellow. We are all so glad that Beau is okay, and he is currently performing surgery on “Chuck” (his stock car). We hope Beau is able to return quickly. That left Baby Ramey at the point with a single file restart and a GWC between him and a win. He slowly rolled into turn 4 and that was when Spindarella A-Aron Esparza took advantage sneaking by him off of turn 2 and he went on to a Victory!! 2nd to Austin Ramey, 3rd went to Joey Richmond, 4th to Clint Smith and 5th to “Rocket” Jayce Reimer.
• Next up was the Rage Jerky Mini Stocks, boasting a 20 car field. It proved to be a great show! With some new faces in the field the action was front to back! It was Drake Jaeger on the pole but Humboldt regular Clint Haigler made his way to the front. He was quicklt chased by 81 Speedway newcomer from OK Racer Costello, yes that’s his name Racer!! Haigler, Costello, and Justin Esparza all battled to the end finishing in that order. 4th was Tyler Griffitts, and 5th to David Bice.
• For the Kansas Tow Company USRA B-mods the Full field of 22 cars battled from the start. But the Hodges Farm and Dredging team were left battling each other at the end for the victory and Reece Solander parked it in VL leaving Jacob Hodges to get runner-up. Chad Reid in 3rd, Clint McFadden 4th and Kyle Henning 5th! These guys all put on a clean race and swapped for multiple positions.
• The Finale for the evening was reserved for the Alternative Pest Management USRA Modifieds! With the track to his liking and (other BiG names choosing to start and park) and coming off a no-start with some mechanical issues the night before , PayDay Paden Phillips was strong from the start. It was Cody Schneipp early in battle when something appeared to break on exit of turn 2 causing Hollywood Tyler Davis and G-Man Wyatt Gaggero to be collected and disabling a couple of them. Later on Gabe Hodges made up ground and made some attempts to get by Paden while Tyler Davis was being ran down by the FHC piloted by Dan Powers and the 41 of Chevy Coleman. At the end ON the track it was 1-Paden Phillips, 2-Gabe Hodges 3-Tyler Davis 4-Dan Powers 5- Chevy Coleman but your top 5 changed drastically Monday evening when some off track altercations that occurred resulted in a couple of cars DQ’d and left your top 5 like this: ( Official Results / Points pending) 1-Paden Phillips, 2-Gabe Hodges, 3-Dan Powers , 4-Chevy Coleman, 5-Kirby Robe
• We want to say thank you to everyone that attended, participated, or helped make it possible in any way! We love that we have the strongest car count in the State, and the best fans you could ask for!! F.O.E
