Austin Theiss collects third checkered flag of the season at Hunt County Raceway

Prepping for ACLMS Doubleheader at Hunt County and Kennedale

BRENHAM, Texas (07/09/24) – Austin Theiss continued his strong start to the 2024 season with a flag-to-flag victory in Wednesday’s Tommy Davis Sr. Memorial at Hunt County Raceway aboard his LT Munitions #7D Saye Plumbing Contractors/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model.

The dominating performance at the Texas oval marked Theiss’ third win of his 2024 season in his home state.

Austin Theiss got an early start to his Fourth of July festivities with a trip to Hunt County Raceway (Greenville, Texas) on Wednesday afternoon for the Tommy Davis Sr. Memorial.
Charging from fifth-to-third in his heat race, Theiss redrew the No. 1 and would sit on the pole of the 15-lap feature. Leading flag-to-flag, Austin picked up his third victory of 2024 and pocketed the $700 payday. Donnie Shipp and Dennie Gieber joined Theiss on the podium.

On the heels of his third win of the season, Theiss is set to return to Hunt County Raceway on Friday for the American Crate Late Model Series sanctioned opener. On Saturday, action shifts to Kennedale (Texas) Speedway Park for another event paying $1,500 to the winner.
