Mason Oberkramer follows Comp Cams to Batesville and I-30

In a field of 31 cars, Oberkamer laid down the fastest time in his group before placing second in his heat. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in eighth, Mason was involved in a multiple car tangle that saw him retire on the fourth circuit.

For the Rockabilly 45 on Saturday at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.), Mason edged his way into the $5,000-to-win finale with a third-place finish in his heat. On the receiving end of more bad luck in the 45-lap affair, Oberkramer pulled off on lap 14 after a stripped bolt led to suspension issues.
