Sixth-place finish in Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway
Cory Hedgecock entered his Noble Knights Construction Services No. 23 Late Model into battle with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday afternoon at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) for the John Bradshaw Memorial.
In a field of 31 cars, Hedgecock edged his way into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Carrying a steady pace in the talent-laden field, Cory recorded a 13th-place finish.
For the 37th annual Ralph Latham Memorial on Saturday at Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.), Cory followed up a fifth-place outing in his heat with a consolation victory. Advancing through the field 11 spots in the 50-lap feature, Hedgecock stormed to a sixth-place finish.
