Rough track bounces Hedgecock from contention in Hangover at 411

Saturday afternoon saw Cory Hedgecock kick off his 2021 season at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the 11th annual Hangover. In a field of 28 cars, Hedgecock topped the speed charts in time trials, locking him on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After setting the pace for the first 13 circuits, Cory surrendered the top spot on a lap-14 restart before hitting a rut on the track that sent him pitside. He ended up pulling off early on lap 20.
