Pair of Top-10 finishes with Spring Nationals

For the fifth stop with the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals, Cory Hedgecock traveled to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon for the $4,053 prize. With the top-five qualifiers from each group getting locked in, Hedgecock laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Dale McDowell. The following night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tenn.), Cory posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Dale McDowell, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. He held a steady momentum throughout the 53-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.

Cory is currently third in the latest Spring Nationals points standings.
