Tyler Bruening races into 38th-annual USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway
Following the series further North for another crown jewel, Tyler Bruening joined a field of over 50 World of Outlaw Real American Beer Late Models at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) for the 38th-annual USA Nationals.
Tyler kicked off the three-day weekend with a seventh-place outing in the $10,000-to-win opener. On Friday evening, Bruening set quicktime and picked up a heat race win before finishing fifth in the pole dash.
In the $100,000-to-win finale on Saturday, Bruening dealt with mechanical issues that forced him to go to a backup car. Tyler finished 20th in the 100-lapper after going to the tail.
