Skylar Marlar wins spectecular Race at LCS!
Thirty Drivers signed up for the $5,000 to win Bluegrass Dirt Classic at Lake Cumberland Speedway. All of the hungry to take victory on an amazing racetrack.
The best start into the evening would have Zach Sise as he took the Fast Lap Award in the MyRacePass Hot Laps. His 13.507 a quatre of a second faster than his brother, Trevor Sise, in second. His time a 13.774. Bailie Lowe would follow in third with a 13.848, closely followed after by Tyler Arrington and his 13.875 in fourth. The top five would be rounded out by Baily Cardwell and a 14.033.
Zach Sise would continue to be the fastest one on track as he also took the Fast Lap in BHR Qualifying with a 13.678. This time Tyler Arrington would follow him in second, his time a 13.795. Trevor Sise would come in third with a 13.935 and Logan Walls in fourth with a 13.945.
In O'Reilly Auto Parts Heat 1 we saw Zach Sise dominate as he took off and never looked back, taking pole for the Feature. In second came Nicholas Byrd, followed by Skylar Marlar in third, Baily Cardwell in fourth and Daniel Dial in the final transfer spot.
Outside Groove Heat 2 would see Points Leader Tyler Arrington take the outside pole for the Feature. Josh Dietz finished second, followed by Ross White in third. Fourth and fifth would be Jordan Wesley and Jeff Watson.
In PPM Racing Products Heat 3 Trevor Sise was too fast for everybody else as he secured his spot at the top. He left Baillie Lowe no choice but to settle for second while Collin Watson and Ethan Toedter finished third and fourth, respectively. Ryan Smith would secure the last transfer spot and finish fifth.
Logan Walls would dominate American Racer Heat 4 while the rest fought hard for the transfer spots. Shane Crain ended up finishing second, in front of Joshua Chesney in third, Chris Chandler in fourth and John Ellison in fifth.
In DirtRichTV B Feature 1 the final two transfer spots were up for grabs. Steve Stollings would go on to win, with Luke Chowning in second. But because of the Provisional order and Chowning breaking down, Kennie Hall and TJ Steele, who finished third and fourth, were awarded the transfer spots. Provisional spots went to Steve Stollings and Phillip Ramirez.
And with that it was time for the Bluegrass Dirt Classic. Zach Sise got an amazing start and drove away from the get-go. But cautions never let him get away for long, then a late caution's Re-Start caused heart break for him, second placed Tyler Arrington and a few more, but that set up an amazing finish to the race, that was already filled with amazing racing with cars going from the back all the way to the top. Skylar Marlar then took the checkered flag in first, behind him Jeff Watson and Ryan Smith filled up the top three. Logan Walls and Bailie Lowe rounded out the top five. The second half of the top ten was as follows: Ethan Toedter, Trevor Sise, Shane Crain, Nicholas Byrd and Steve Stollings.
