Jake competed in the Friday night and Saturday night portions of the three-day event, coming home with a podium finish on championship Saturday night for his efforts. Friday, he won his heat race from the pole and then fell out of the feature after running inside the top ten early.
Saturday, he started 3rd in his heat race and raced to second, which earned himself the 11th stating spot in the night's 60-lap, $20,000 to win King of America feature event. In the feature, he quickly jumped into the top ten and then raced his way into the top five before crossing the finish line with a solid third place run.
Nick kicked off his 2021 season at the Tucson Speedway in Tucson, AZ in his Open Wheel Modified. He qualified fastest overall, but since he missed the driver's meeting, he had to start at the tail of the field. He rallied from his 13th starting spot up to third during the first segment, before racing inside the top three for the second segment and making the pass for the lead and the win with just two laps to go, picking up the clean sweep.
