Will Roland runner-up in UCRA event at North Georgia Speedway

Kicking off his Easter weekend on Friday afternoon, Will Roland was one of 39 Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Late Models checked in at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.).

Chasing the setup most of the night, Roland found himself in a B-Main where he finished just a few spots out of an A-Main transfer.

Heading back to his home track of North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Saturday, Will Roland joined a field of 33 United Championship Racing Alliance Late Models.

Clicking off the third-fastest lap in qualifying, Roland earned a spot on the second row of the feature after picking up the victory in his heat race. With a $3,000 payday on the line, Will ran runner-up after 40-laps. He trailed race-winner Chip Brindle while Mitchell Stanley rounded out the podium.
