Top-10 finishes at Jackson and Huset's

After Thursday’s C & B Border Battle opener was washed out by wet weather, Christopher Thram returned to Jackson Motorplex on Friday, joining a field of 23 Midwest Sprint Touring Series entries.

Thram opened the night by outrunning pole-starter Jack Dover to claim a heat race victory, then posted a fifth-place finish in the dash. In the feature, he ran consistently near the front, ultimately slipping one spot to finish sixth.

The weekend wrapped up Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, where Thram earned the Nordica Warehouses Quick Time award with a 10.925-second lap in qualifying. He followed with a fourth-place heat race effort and continued his steady performance by advancing two positions to finish eighth in the 25-lap main event.
