Hill Competes in Opening Night of Golden Isles Nationals

Tuesday night saw Vic Hill return to action at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.) as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) Reopening Tour came to life. Drawing 43 cars for the Optima Batteries Golden Isles Nationals, Hill registered the 17th fastest lap in his time trial group before coming in ninth in his heat. Slated to start near the tail of his B-Main, Vic was a scratch from the 12-lapper. (Heath Lawson photo)

He elected to sit out the final two nights of the Golden Isles Nationals.
