Sixth-place showing with HTF Series at Florence Speedway
Back in the seat for the first time since Eldora, Dale McDowell made his first-ever visit to Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) on Friday afternoon to kick off the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series doubleheader.
Finishing 25th in the opener, McDowell focused on Saturday's show at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) where he charged from fifth-to-second in his heat race. Dale started fifth in the 50-lap, $20,000-to-win feature and recorded a sixth-place finish.
