Hoffman Enters Castrol Doubleheader

Nick Hoffman took his Tye Twarog Racing No. 9 Super Late Model into battle on Tuesday afternoon at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the opening round of the 2023 Castrol FloRacing Night in America season.

The $23,023-to-win event drew 54 entries to the famed, 1/2-mile oval. Nick enjoyed a great start to the night with the fastest lap in his qualifying group, and backed it up with a heat race win to earn the second-starting spot for the 50-lap feature.

Unfortunately he battled the handle in the main event fading to a 15th-place finish.

On Wednesday evening the action shifted west to Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway, where Nick was third fastest in qualifying. Finishing second in his heat race positioned Hoffman 12th on the feature grid.

With passing coming at a premium Nick crossed the finish line in 12th.
