Lucas Lee Feasts at Iron-Man Racing Series Leftover

SEYMOUR, TENNESSEE (November 27, 2021)– The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series would conclude their 2021 racing seasons on Saturday at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN with the 6th Annual Leftover.

Lucas Lee of Paris, TN would grab the lead with five laps remaining and claim his second Leftover victory with the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified series and the $1,200 first place money.

The win by the 33-year old Lee would be his third career Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series victory and first of the season and would come behind the wheel of a Hughes Chassis powered by a Mullins Race Engines with sponsorship from Tank Lines of Paris, Turner’s Landscape, 45 Race Shop, Wiles Driveshafts, and FK Rod Ends.

The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series feature event would see two caution flags wave before one lap was officially completed, but the third time would be the charm and Brandon Kinzer would grab the race lead, followed by Lucas Lee, Michael Asberry, Blake Brown, and Clayton Miller. Miller would take the fourth position from Brown on lap two, while Kinzer began to stretch his lead in the early going. The front five remained the same as the final caution of the race waved on lap eight. The restart would see Lee stay with Kinzer and that pair would settle into a battle for the top spot until Lee would take the lead from Kinzer on lap twenty-one and maintain a slight advantage over the Kinzer the remainder of the event to score the win, with Kinzer finishing second, while Asberry completed the podium in the third position. Miller and Brown would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Amos Bunch, Tommy Bailey, K.C. Burdette, Ricky Tinch, and Jacob Hall.

These events conclude the 2021 season for the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series and Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series would like to congratulate Jensen Ford of Johnson City, KY on winning the championship with the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series. The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series would like to congratulate Blake Brown of Corbin, KY on winning his second consecutive Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series championship.
