“We raced really hard both nights at West Virginia and gave it everything we had, but just didn’t have any luck. Sunday was my first time to Brushcreek, and I can honestly say there’s nothing like it. It was a fun and racy track, and we got the $10,000 win. It was really cool too because they paired all of us with a fan before the show, and if we won, then that fan won a Harley Davidson. That was a nice added bonus on the night,” Erb commented. “We had a good time running the Cole Trickle wrap this weekend, and I hope all of the fans enjoyed it as well.”

Friday night found Best Performance Motorsports pilot Tyler Erb in action at West Virginia Motor Speedway (Mineral Wells, W.Va.) for the opening round of the inaugural Historic 100 weekend. Sporting a No. 46 wrap in honor of Days of Thunder-famed Cole Trickle, Tyler secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature with a second-place finish in his heat.

Improving three spots in the 30-lap affair, Erb notched a third-place finish. He trailed Jonathan Davenport and Gregg Satterlee to the checkers with G.R. Smith and Scott Bloomquist rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday evening, Erb started the night with a heat race win, which positioned him fourth on the starting grid for the Historic 100. With $25,000 on the line, Tyler rebounded after a pair of tire and wheel issues in the early going dropped him to the tail. He ultimately posted a fourth-place finish in the 50-lapper, following Jonathan Davenport, Gregg Satterlee, and Devin Moran across the line with Matt Sponaugle coming in fifth.

For the 4B4EVER 40 on Sunday at Bruschcreek Motorsports Complex (Peebles, Ohio), Tyler locked into the main event with a heat race win. Sneaking ahead of race-leader Billy Moyer Jr. on lap 13 amid lapped-traffic, Erb went on to pick up his seventh win of the season and a $10,000 payday. He took the checkers ahead of Moyer Jr., R.J. Conley, Steve Casebolt, and Rod Conley.
