Tyler Erb attends Lucas Oil doubleheader in Peach State

After Mother Nature wiped out the second attempt at the Mountain Moonshine Classic on Friday Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.), Tyler Erb returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Saturday at Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) for the Dixie Shootout. In a field of 39 cars, Tyler jumped up two spots in his heat race to record a third-place finish. For the Rome Showdown on Sunday at Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.), Erb’s seventh-place finish in his heat race pinned him 18th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win finale. Improving three spots in the 40-lapper, Tyler logged a 15th-place outing.

Tyler is currently sixth in the lastest LOLMDS point standings.
