Top-10 finish Lucas Oil Speedweeks finale at BRP

On Monday afternoon, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) picked back up at Bubba Raceway Park (Ocala, Fla.) for the final two events of the Florida Speedweeks slate. With 49 cars on hand, Tyler came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth-place finish, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Erb locked into the 17th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win opening night feature. After challenging for a Top-10 finish early in the 40-lapper, Tyler was involved in numerous incidents in the closing laps that dropped him back to 21st when the checkered flag flew.

For another $10,000-to-win A-Main on Tuesday, Erb followed up the ninth fastest lap in his time trial group with a third-place finish in his heat. Rolling off ninth, Tyler clawed forward one spot in the 40-lap affair to finish eighth. (Heath Lawson photos)
