Kyle Hammer seventh at Kankakee County Speedway with MARS Modifieds

Prepping his Modified notebook for an upcoming event at Fairbuy (Ill.) Speedway, Kyle Hammer joined the MARS Modified Series at Kankakee (Ill.) County Speedway for the first leg of the series's doubleheader.

Struggling in qualifying, Hammer made the 30-lap main event through a B-Main. Starting 17th in the feature, Kyle charged through the field and made up 10 spots to land inside the Top-10 in seventh.

Hammer followed the tour to Highland (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday where he would start 15th in the main event and finish 16th after 30-laps.
