Runner-up finish at Spoon River Speedway
Prepping for an upcoming stint with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Spencer Diercks visited Spoon River Speedway (Canton, Ill.) on Friday afternoon to pilot his Roehlk Concrete Contractors No. 29 Late Model.
After turning in the second-fastest qualifying effort, Diercks backed up a heat race win with a runner-up showing in the feature. He chased Mike Chasteen Jr. across the line in the 25-lapper with Brandon Eskew rounding out the podium.
