Berck turns in a pair of third-place finishes in Silver Dollar Nationals at Huset's
Kyle Berck unloaded his Speedee Mart No. 14 Late Model at the pristine Huset’s Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) over the weekend to compete in the Malvern Bank West Series portion of the 14th annual Silver Dollar Nationals weekend.
On Friday evening, Berck backed up the fourth-fastest qualifying effort in his group with a fifth-to-third heat showing. Gunning for the $5,053 payday in the weekend opener, Kyle led laps early before ultimately crossing the line in third.
The following night, Kyle squeezed into the $5,053 Silver Dollar Nationals finale with a fifth-place heat outing. Starting in fifth, Berck muscled forward two spots in the 30-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He joined Bill Leighton Jr. and JC Wyman on the podium.
