Bagley notches pair of CCSDS top-5 finishes at Arrowhead and Batesville
Morgan Bagley competed in COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) events in Oklahoma and Arkansas over the weekend and finished no worse than fifth.
On Friday, Bagley was part of a 28-car CCSDS field at Colcord, Oklahoma’s 1/3-mile Arrowhead Speedway. He drove his P&W Sales No. 14M Super Late Model from fourth to second in his heat race and rolled off fourth to begin the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature. He finished in the fifth spot, rounding out the top five behind Billy Moyer Sr, Clay Stuckey, Kyle Beard and Eli Ross.
Bagley followed the series to Batesville Motor Speedway on Saturday for the Ed Rinehart Memorial. Twenty-three CCSDS competitors descended on the 3/8-mile track for the $5,000-to-win event. Bagley raced from fourth to second in his heat for the second consecutive night, and he again started fourth in the 30-lap A-Main. This time, he advanced two positions and finished as runner-up, 0.418 seconds behind Scott Crigler. Third place went to Jon Kirby, with Beard and Eli Ross coming home fourth and fifth, respectively.
With the Arrowhead and Batesville programs in the books, Bagley sits second in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series point standings.
