Morgan Bagley
Pair of CCSDS top-10 finishes for Mo Bags in Oklahoma and Missouri
Morgan Bagley continued his quest for the 2024 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) championship on the second weekend in August as the tour swung through the Sooner and Show-Me States.
On Friday, Bagley’s P&W Sales No. 14M Super Late Model was among 21 CCSDS entries in the pit area at the 3/8-mile Outlaw Motor Speedway in Oktaha, Oklahoma. Bagley notched a fourth-place finish in his heat race, starting him 10th in the $5,000-to-win feature. He came home in the same spot in the caution-free 30-lapper.
Another $5,000 winner’s share was on the line the next night at Springfield (Missouri) Raceway, bringing 28 CCSDS competitors to the quarter-mile speed plant. Bagley took the runner-up spot in the heat and started sixth in the 40-lap main event. However, an early caution forced him near the rear for the restart. He charged forward throughout the remaining laps to take an eighth-place result.
Bagley is currently second in series points, 52 markers behind leader Logan Martin.
