Bagley attends Topless 100 weekend at BMS

Morgan Bagley invaded Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Ark.) on Thursday evening to kick off the 28th annual Comp Cams Topless 100 weekend. Drawing 48 Late Models for the event co-sanctioned by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Morgan jumped up two spots in his heat race to finish fourth. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Bagley fell one spot short with a fourth place outing.

For another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature on Friday night, Bagley came one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth place finish. Grabbing the third and final transfer spot in his B-Main, Morgan earned the 24th-starting position for the show. Holding his spot for all 30 laps, Bagley recorded a 24th place finish.

With preliminary results from Thursday and Friday setting the grid for Saturday night’s main event, Morgan sat 25th overall in preliminary points, transferring him into the B-Main for one final shot at the $40,000-to-win Comp Cams Topless 100. Locking in the Top 3, Bagley fell short with a sixth place outing.
