Transponder pouch mounting update.

As you are getting your car ready for the season, don't forget to put that transponder in the new mounting location. We had previously stated to mount the transponder on the left side of the axle. During our preseason talking with drivers, it was brought to our attention that other tracks and series mount the transponders on the right side.

Once we confirmed the mounting location, we have updated our General Rule #18 of Race Procedures to reflect the right side mounting. Your transponder will still need to be mounted in an orange transponder pouch and on the back side of the axle to protect it from the elements. Orange pouches are available at TCMS for a discounted price of $15 per pouch. This rule applies to all classes.

The first line of the rule reads:
18. Transponders must be mounted on the right side and the back of rear axle and in an orange transponder pouch.

If you are a Bomber Stock your mounting location will be center line of the rear axle and also mounted on the right side of the car.

You can always contact the track if you have additional questions at 989-316-6804.
