LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – After taking last weekend off, Bradley Fezard set out to return to his home track of I-30 Speedway in hopes to capture win number one on the season. Thirteen micros were on hand to tackle the quarter-mile clay oval in hopes of crossing the line victorious.

The night started off with the Hot Springs, Ark. racer lined up outside row two in the second of two heats. Wasting no time Fezard quickly jumped to second on lap one. He would remain second until two laps to go ultimately finishing third.

Miscommunication between Fezard and the worker at the scale after his heat would result in a disqualification and force the #58 Stallard/Honda to start tailback on the field for the feature. As the green flag flew and the field headed into turn one, disaster almost struck as a handful of cars would tangle in front of Fezard. The drivers gathered the handle on their machines and the race remained green, but a red on lap two for an overturned car would bring the race to a halt. Once the field realigned, Fezard restarted in the tenth position. With seven laps down, he would slide into seventh and then pick up the sixth spot one lap later. As the halfway point was reached, the 15-year-old cracked into the top five. Wasting no time, the battle for fourth would quickly take place. Just as he passed for position, the third place running car would pull to the infield, allowing Fezard to claim the spot. He would hang on to the final podium spot, his third consecutive podium at I-30 for 2015.

Fezard would like to thank Brandon’s Ranch and Aaron’s Powdercoating, as well as his mom and dad, Frank Galusha at Eagle Motorsports Inc, Justin Lovins with ML Amsoil, and his great fans for their continued support.

Fezard is next scheduled to compete on May 29-30 for the inaugural “Oklahoma Grand Prix” at I-44 Riverside Speedway in Oklahoma City, Okla. in the #58 600cc micro sprint entry.
