Davison features in NASCAR Xfinity Series debut
Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. JD Davison made an exciting debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Saturday, racing the King Autosport #90 Lake Forest Hearing AE ReplayXD Cruz Camaro up to 8th position.
The 40 car field race featured many cautions and incidents in which Davison was a victim in. The race went to overtime with a late race restart / 2 lap dash to the finish. Davison was running in 10th position at the final corner of the final lap when he was hit from behind, driving the car across the finish line in 19th position.
"I really enjoyed my NASCAR debut with King Autosport and must thank Mario Gosselin and all my supporters for this opportunity." Davison said. "I felt we punched above our weight to feature up with the big players for the small team that we are. I got a warm welcome to NASCAR being biffed and barged around but had a blast regardless. I hope this will be the beginning of more NASCAR to come in the future."
