Thompson Tops I-80 Speedway Action; Wins Again at Park Jefferson

Cody Thompson bested the Modified competition on Friday night at I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.) in his No. 25c entry.

Sixteen entries were on hand and Cody won his heat race to earn the second-starting position for the feature.

He grabbed the lead at the drop of the green flag and never looked back on his way to his third win of the year. He was followed across the finish line by Ryan Jenkins, Jacob Hobscheidt, Dylan Sillman, and Jesse Dennis.

On Saturday night, the team rolled into Park Jefferson (S.D.) International Speedway. Seventeen IMCA Modifieds entered the program, and via prelim action Cody earned the pole position for the feature event.

The finale found Thompson wiring the field for the second-straight night as he soared to his fourth win of the year. Shane DeMey, Bob Moore, Jacob Hobscheidt, and Jeff Berens rounded out the Top-5 finishers.
