TBJ tops Dark Side Fall Bash finale at Cedar County Raceway
Tom Berry Jr. returned to the Hawkeye State on Thursday afternoon to compete in the Darkside Promotions Fall Bash at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa).
Aboard his Lethal Chassis No. 11X Modified for a pair of prelims on Thursday and Friday, Berry rallied after pulling a fourth-row starting spot in his heat to finish third. Marching forward again in the feature, Tom passed nine more cars to finish fifth.
After missing a transfer spot into Friday's preliminary, Tom locked his spot into the Darkside Promotions Fall Bash finale on Saturday night with a seventh-to-second showing in his heat. Leading 42 circuits of the 50-lap feature, Berry repelled a charging Ethan Braaskma late to secure his 18th win of the season.
He banked the $3,000 payday ahead of Ethan Braaksma, Jeremiah Hurst, Zack VanderBeek, and Dallon Murty.
